A vivid memory from my learning days of my Art Teacher, determined to make me understand the process of capturing the simple essence of an object has stayed with me and inspired this piece. It was created from strips of recycled Cardboard to symbolize the stylized shape of a Pink Flower on a Lime Green Stem with 3 stylised Leaves, with a protective poly coating and finished in Satin varnish. Showcased on a white wooden stand, felted to underside.

This series is about capturing the basic elements of form and conceptualizing them into tactile, simplistic shapes, while still promoting and celebrating their origins.
These are my interpretations of some of Nature's colorful and abundant life.
